Township of Seguin Notice of Proposed Amendments to the By-law respecting Construction, Demolition, Change of Use, Inspections and Fees
Pursuant to section 7 of the Ontario Building Code Act, 1992, and Division C, section 1.9.1.2 of the Ontario Building Code, The Corporation of the Township of Seguin hereby gives notice at the regular meeting of Council on April 7th, 2026 in the Council Chambers at 5 Humphrey Drive, Council will consider a by-law to amend By-law No. 2022-052, a By-law respecting Construction, Demolition, Change of Use, Inspections and Fees, to amend fees including adding fees related to septic systems.
Additional information related to the proposed fees including the estimated costs of administering and enforcing the Building Code Act, 1992, the amount of the fee or of the change to the existing fee, and the rationale for imposing or changing the existing fees is available without cost upon request to Curtis Livingstone, Township of Seguin Chief Building Official through email (clivingstone@seguin.ca) or phone (705-732-4300) during regular office hours.
