The Rose Point Recreational Trail is a 6 km route that follows the historic JR Booth Railway system from James Bay Junction Road South to Rose Point Road, providing an important connection to larger provincial and regional trail systems, including the Park-to-Park Trail. Owned by Seguin Township and maintained by the Park-to-Park Trail Association, the trail offers rich natural, geological, and historical features and attracts a wide range of users, including snowmobilers, ATVers, hikers, cyclists, and cross-country skiers. Maintenance concerns should be reported to the Park-to-Park Trail Association. Seguin Township has also partnered with the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve to offer a virtual guided hike experience, providing at-home environmental learning led by naturalists that highlights native plants, birds, insects, and the area’s diverse ecosystems.

Location and parking: Trail access and parking are available at both the Rose Point trailhead (West end) and near James Bay Junction Road (East end).

The Seguin Trail is situated on a section of the long abandoned JR Booth Railway system stretching from Ottawa to Arnprior and Parry Sound.

This is part of the Park-to-Park Trail system. The trail welcomes hikers, cyclists, cross-country skiers, snowmobilers, and ATVers.
