Transfer Site Locations

Residents can bring only the following to transfer sites:

Residential household waste
Recycling (plastic, fiber, e.g. paper, cardboard)

Hours

Landfill

All other items (anything not household waste or plastic/fiber recycling) must be taken to Christie Landfill (Seguin Landfill) - 39 Star Lake Road. Please note that the landfill is closed on statutory holidays.

Hazardous Waste

Seguin Township has an agreement with the Town of Parry Sound that allows Seguin residents to dispose of hazardous waste materials at the MacFarlane St. Transfer Station. Proof of residency is required. For further information, please visit Parry Sound’s website or call at 705-746-2101.

Re-Use Centre

Residents are encouraged to drop off reusable items at the Reuse Centre at the Christie Landfill (Seguin Landfill) - 39 Star Lake Road. Items may be purchased by donation. Funds go towards sports and recreation equipment for Seguin youth.

If the bins are full at the transfer station you are at, please visit and take your waste to an alternate transfer stations (addresses above) and contact Public Works at 705-732-4300; after hours line 705-751-0050.
